There are Trees that are Dancers

Monica Raszewski’s new play marks a return to La Mama after the success of Three Oaks in 2006/2008 which delighted audiences with its inventiveness and theatricality. She is again working with Marc Raszewski whose compelling set design was nominated for a Green Room Award.
Elaine Hudson (Director) has worked closely with Adam Pierzchalski, physical theatre practitioner and VulgarGrad band member, to bring the conflicting realities in the play to theatrical life.
Original music has been composed by Piotr Nowotnik a versatile composer and performer whose collaborations cross art forms including theatre, video games, film, experimental cinematography, dance and puppetry.
The cast features Beverley Geldard – co-founder and former Artistic Director of Castlemaine Fringe and Jane Nolan – Green Room Award for Best Actress in Faith Healer and acclaimed for performance in Molly Sweeney for Old Van Productions.
